Engineering Apprenticeships

The Intermediate Apprenticeship Programme

For this, you will need to have Maths, English and a Science subject at GCSE grades D-G or equivalent. During college term time, you will attend a local college on a part-time, once a week basis, where you will learn the necessary engineering skills to help you through your career path.

Once you have attained a Level 2 qualification in Engineering, you will move on to study for your Level 3 qualification after which there is the option to study for a certificate in Advanced Machining. On top of this, you will also be required to study for on-site City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications.

Outside of college term times, you will enhance your studies with hands-on training, working alongside our skilled workforce to help you develop a thorough knowledge of all of the engineering processes employed at EBC Brakes.

The Advanced Apprenticeship Programme

On top of this, you will be required to undertake on-site City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications.

Once you have attained a Level 2 qualification in Engineering, you will move on to studying for your BTEC qualification after which you will have the option to study for a HNC.

Outside of college term times, you will enhance your training by working alongside our skilled workforce to help you develop a thorough knowledge of all of the engineering processes employed at EBC Brakes.

Welcome to our engineering apprentices

We were pleased to be joined by our new EBC Brakes Engineering Apprentices, Charlie, Luca and Ben when they arrived at our World Headquarters for an induction and facility tour.

Our apprentices were greeted by our Management Team before being given a tour of the facility, including the extension which houses state-of-the-art laser cutting equipment, a brake caliper manufacturing facility and our Centre of Excellence.

Our apprentices have varying degrees of engineering experience and knowledge and will gain hands-on skills as they grow with the company to develop the braking products of the future.

We welcome you all to the company and wish you every success.
